Where plumbing serves multiple tenants, ask how inspections and shutdowns would be coordinated. For this type of request, the discussion may involve site access, maintenance windows, shared fixtures, and operational downtime, depending on the property and the symptoms. Avoid assuming a single symptom proves the need for replacement; ask how the diagnosis will be made.
Request clear information on the proposed method, materials, timing, and any follow-up testing or documentation.
