Terms of Service

Last updated: October 29, 2026

These Terms of Service describe the rules for using Emergency-Plumber.online (the “Site”), a website that helps visitors browse plumbing information and find independently operated plumbing businesses. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site does

Emergency-Plumber.online publishes a directory of plumbing businesses, service categories, locations, and educational information. We help visitors understand common plumbing issues, review available business details, and contact providers. Our directory is not itself a plumbing contractor, a professional diagnosis service, or an emergency dispatch operation.

A business profile is informational and does not mean that we employ, insure, license, inspect, certify, recommend, or guarantee the business. See How It Works for how to interpret directory listings.

2. Independent providers and service arrangements

The plumbing businesses shown in the directory act independently. Each provider is responsible for the services it offers, its personnel, professional qualifications, insurance, licensing, permits, pricing, estimates, availability, workmanship, warranties, and legal obligations.

When you call a provider, visit its website, schedule an appointment, agree to work, or make a payment, that arrangement is between you and the provider. Confirm credentials, service area, fees, proposed scope, and written terms directly with the business before authorizing work.

3. Accuracy and availability of listings

Business information may be submitted by an owner or collected from sources used for directory compilation. Information may change without notice. We aim to maintain useful records, but cannot promise that profiles, hours, service descriptions, addresses, telephone numbers, credentials, ratings, or other details are complete or current.

Search placement and profile visibility do not establish suitability for a particular job. Directory accounts and submitted listings are not equivalent to independent verification of licenses or insurance. You should check these with the appropriate business and, where relevant, government or credentialing authority.

4. Business accounts and submissions

The Site provides business-owner account, sign-in, profile, and listing-submission tools. If you register, you must provide truthful account information, protect your credentials, and use the account only in ways authorized by the Site. Email verification confirms access to an email address; it is not proof of trade qualifications.

If you submit or manage a business listing, you represent that you have authority to provide its information and that you have the rights needed to upload descriptions, photographs, logos, and other materials. Keep information reasonably accurate and correct material changes. You may not impersonate a business or falsely claim its services, authorizations, or geographic coverage.

Submissions may be reviewed, corrected, rejected, limited, unpublished, or removed when appropriate for accuracy, security, legal compliance, or directory quality. Submission does not guarantee approval, a particular position in results, leads, calls, revenue, or continued publication.

5. Content you submit

You retain ownership of materials you lawfully own. By submitting a description, photograph, logo, or other content for display on the Site, you give the Site operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt for reasonable formatting, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and present the directory. You confirm that the submission does not violate others’ rights.

Do not include another person’s private information without authority. We may remove or restrict content reasonably believed to be inaccurate, unlawful, infringing, or unsafe. You can request a correction or removal through the relevant business profile or our Contact page.

6. Acceptable use

You may browse and use the Site for lawful directory research and ordinary account activities. You must not:

  • Provide false, deceptive, impersonated, or unlawful business or account information.
  • Interfere with the Site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, or bypass security controls.
  • Use business contact details for unlawful spam, harassment, or privacy violations.
  • Misuse directory content through automated extraction that disrupts the service or violates applicable law or others’ rights.
  • Infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, confidentiality, or other rights.

7. Listing fees and search placement

At present, Emergency-Plumber.online does not charge businesses for directory inclusion or accept payment for featured positions, sponsored placements, or referral arrangements. No listing is promoted in exchange for payment. A business’s presence or position in search results is not a recommendation, an independent verification of qualifications, or a warranty of service quality. Review the available profile details and contact the provider directly to confirm whether it meets your needs.

The Site does not set or guarantee independent plumbers’ job prices or estimates. Any charges for plumbing work are determined by the provider you hire.

8. Safety and emergency information

Educational descriptions of plumbing problems are general information, not an individualized inspection, code interpretation, or professional instruction for a hazardous situation. Do not rely on site content as an alternative to licensed or otherwise qualified help when the situation requires it.

The Site does not monitor email or dispatch emergency responders. For suspected gas leaks, electrical dangers, significant flooding, or other immediate hazards, go to a safe location and contact the appropriate emergency service, utility, or qualified professional. For urgent plumbing service, contact a local business directly.

9. Third-party links and communications

Business profiles may contain phone numbers and links to external websites, maps, and services. Those destinations are operated by third parties and have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control the accuracy, security, service quality, or business conduct of independent providers or their websites.

10. Intellectual property

The Site’s original text, design elements, organization, and branding are owned by or licensed to the Site operator unless otherwise stated. Third-party business names, logos, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants a right to commercially reproduce protected Site material except as allowed by law or with permission.

11. Service availability and disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and information on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without guarantees of uninterrupted access, error-free data, timely provider responses, or successful service outcomes. We may modify, correct, suspend, or remove features and listings as needed.

Nothing in these Terms removes protections, warranties, or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to waive.

12. Responsibility and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site operator is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent service providers or for losses resulting from reliance on inaccurate third-party listing information. Any limitation of liability is subject to non-waivable legal rights and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You are responsible for losses caused by your own unlawful use of the Site or content you submit that infringes another person’s rights, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Privacy and data requests

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Site handles account, listing, website, and support-request information. If you wish to access, correct, or request removal of personal information, follow the instructions there or contact us directly.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when Site features, operations, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version with a revised date and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use after a change is subject to applicable law and any notice requirements.

15. Applicable law

These Terms are interpreted under the laws applicable to the Site operator and the circumstances of your use. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

16. Questions

For a question about these Terms, use the Contact page or email info@emergency-plumber.online.
